November is National Prematurity Awareness Month, a time to reflect on the strength and resilience of families affected by premature birth. At Reignbows, we want to recognize the courage of those who have faced the challenges of prematurity—whether through survival or heartbreaking loss.
For families with preterm babies, the journey can be filled with fear, uncertainty, and hope. Many babies spend weeks or months in the NICU, battling health challenges, while parents remain by their side, filled with love and determination. But for some, the journey is painfully short, and the loss of a premature child leaves a grief unlike any other.
To those who have lost a premature baby, we mourn with you. Your child’s life, though brief, is cherished, and the love you have for them will never fade. We honor the strength it takes to carry this grief and remember your little ones with you.
We are with you because we ARE you! Reign was born 2 months prematurely. She stayed in the NICU. As a mother, I felt lonely and isolated. To this day, Reignbows donates handmade blankets, rompers and special trinkets to the mothers in the NICU on Mother’s Day. We will never forget the night Reign was born. To those who have survived the NICU journey, your resilience is inspiring. You are heroes, and your children’s stories are powerful reminders of the fight for life and love.
At Reignbows, we are deeply thankful for every family who has weathered the storm of prematurity. Whether through survival, ongoing challenges, or loss, your strength is inspiring, and we stand with you.
This month, we invite everyone to raise awareness, offer support, and honor the families who have faced premature birth. Your courage touches us all.
